I was just going through my children's medical health records book for kids from the age of 0 to 6.

Appendix 7 clearly states about sexual harrasment.

The government of Malaysia clearly instructs parents to inform children about unwanted touches.

The instructions from the government states
-Do not allow anyone to touch your breast, private parts (p***s or va**na) or hips.

-Say "NO" to unwanted and uneasy touches

-shout and scream to get help and quickly move away from the person harassing you

-inform a trusted adult the soonest possible.

In the field of human resources, I hear many issues about sexual harassment at the workplace.

I believe that if all can just start from young to practice the basic rules, we may be able to create a better society.

I was doing some learning today and listened to an interesting podcast.

It is true that as an specialist, I sometimes feel whether I should just share some or all my knowledge and experience to my staff and team.

I realise that the more I share and train, the more powerful the team gets and the better the value the team then provides to all our and .

It is time to focus on the and and not think about negative things. The world and life is already .

The old school says that sharing knowledge is a threat to the business where once a staff learns our trade secrets, they will leave and join a competitor or start their own competing business. The new school is we cannot bear not to teach or else we will be ourselves competitive.

A large MNC in Shah Alam obtained immediate ROI of time and cost savings after adopting thermal facial attendance linked with their access cards for one of their plant with 2000 employees having 24-hour operations and multiple shifts.

Among the benefits they obtained were:-

1. One single device to replace their temperature taking and access card swiping reducing their capital investments and maintenance
2. Automated security checking that face matches the card they carry to ensure no buddy punching happens and unauthorised access happens
3. Immediate overtime savings as previously 12 staff were deployed 2 hours before shift starts to manually take temperature and record staff details. Now only 2 staff are needed to record staff who forgot to bring their access cards or if they are new.
4. Immediate time savings where long queue which took 2 hours to clear is now cleared in 30 minutes only with multiple unit deployments.
5. Immediate time savings for reporting as temperature and time clocking reporting is automated and is real-time
6. Ability to customise application according to their custom-tailored requirement where integration services were customised to link to their Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and Visitor Management solution as added services
7. Single one-time fee for the solution
8. Continuous working relationship with friendly and efficient vendor who has served them for 15 years
