We took part in the IBM THINK on Tour, Singapore edition, where we showcased our analytics and risk solutions. This year marks 18 years of our partnership with IBM. It was great that we are able to also meet fellow partners and friends at the event.

On 24 June 2026, we organised a seminar titled “Managing Shariah Risk & Compliance In The Financial Sector” in collaboration with Association of Shariah Advisors in Islamic Finance. The event was held at the Asia Institute of Chartered Bankers (“AICB”), where it brings together practitioners in Islamic finance to discuss experiences and best practices in managing Shariah risks and compliance in Islamic financial institutions. We also showcased our Shariah Risk Management solution, which is powered by the IBM OpenPages platform, and demonstrated the use of artificial intelligence in performing risk management tasks.

We had the annual get together buka puasa iftar sessions with the team, customers and friends during this ramadhan month.

It’s good to be back in Nairobi last week. We met friends and had several great meetings with customers. This has been the fruits from our previous visits and initiation from MDEC’s business missions in the East Africa region through its GAIN program.
