Extreme repair !

Replace the defective part is not repair, making the bad one into good one is. Modern laptop motherboard is usually composed of 6 to 10 layers of PCB (printed circuit board) which means there are 6 to 10 layers of circuit inside of a green or blue fiber glass sheet.

Spotting which part is bad and fixing it is not easy and requires a lot of skill and knowledge. The easiest way to make money is of course selling the client to buy a new one rather than spending the time to fix it.

The photo shows a case of extreme repair that we rerouted a connector back to a chip and another connector even without the original circuit diagram. A lot of work though.
