You may be wondering, “How do I do it?”
Trezor allows you to double-check if you’ve written the recovery seed down correctly directly in Trezor Suite, risk-free. Here’s how it works:
▪️ In your Trezor Suite settings, choose “Check backup”
▪️ Run the process as if it were a regular recovery
▪️ Trezor compares the seed saved in its storage and the seed you have just “recovered”
▪️ Your wallet tells you if the seed you entered matches the one in the device
▪️ If it checks out, you know you’re safe ✅
▪️ As always, the golden rule is that you should only trust the information on the hardware wallet display and never enter your seed anywhere without confirming it physically on your Trezor.
