The announcement is genuine. LHDN/HASiL introduced the e-Invoice Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme (SVDP) on 7 July 2026, allowing eligible taxpayers to voluntarily correct or submit missing e-Invoices until 31 December 2027. The programme is intended for businesses that missed e-Invoices, submitted incorrect information, or need to regularise past e-Invoice compliance. HASiL also released updated e-Invoice guidelines and new MyInvois SDK document versions (SVDP 1.2 & 1.3) to support the programme.
