What is the difference between the Sweden made 2Box Drumit5 MKI & II ?

I had been gigging with 2box MKl sometimes and I brought in the MKll as soon as it released.

I gig weekly the MKll and I love it....but recently I have been doing some smaller gigs with MKl.

I have had ample time with both and I don't see a huge difference on the performance although the MKl just feels better...

The MKll improved on the trigger compatibility and external access SD card....other than this, I found the sound and system much the same.

The 2Box Drumit5 MKl is a highly regarded electronic drum module features with 4GB of sound memory plus the 15 trigger channels and open sound editing which allowing to import the custom sound . It also supports mesh heads & 3 zone cymbals， of course it is best used with native 2Box pads.

This MKl (showroom PreOwn unit) is nearly New (99% mint condition)...this has been the centre piece of our dedicated listening room and is meticulously care

After SOLD many units of Shanling ET3 Digital CD TRANSPORT, I haven't had a chance to actually listen to them ! Because demand far exceeds supply.

Today, we have our supporting facilities On-Air :

- Audiolab Omnia CD/ DAC/ Streamer Integrated Amplifier

After audition, we have some ideas to choose between Shanling ET3 or Audiolab Omnia .......

While the Audiolab Omnia build in CD Transport is excellent, it build in slot loading mechanism and emulate the award-winning Audiolab 6000CDT.
With CD albums 'Mighty Sam McClain" & 'A 20-Bit Taste of DMP' , it offering an engaging, snappy sound. The sound is noted for being open, precise and well-balanced, ideal for long listening sessions without fatigue. The Omnia is an excellent choice, for those who want to enjoy in all-in-system.

The Bowers & Wilkins DM607S2 AE with it's Continuum cones although compact size, they are known for having tight, agile and well defined bass. The 50W Class AB Omnia provides adequate grip to ensure the low bass stay controlled rather than flabby.

How good Shanling SCD1.3 (Launched 2024) & is it High-End ?

The Shanling SCD1.3 is a tremendous sounding player. Based on what I'm hearing about 200 hours of dynamic signals and left on all the time, I can confirm there is no SACD player currently out there that I know of at this price that sounds as good, new or used.

The satisfaction is given by the excellent sound quality of CD, SACD and Roon via AirPlay, the recognition of CDs is fast while that of SACDs a little less, the commands to the reader thru remote control is excellent.

A controller chip is installed in this Shanling player, which presumably grants free access to the SACD data stream.

Top AKM DAC, it can function as a DAC, single ended and balanced outputs.
This might be a really good player, I have my eye closed, 'watching' the music in my head.

If you are a serious Audiophile listener who prefer a more euphoric , emotionally engaging sound plus more analogue like presentation with slightly richer midrange....well, the Shanling SCD1.3 probably a right choice !!
