📢 Important : Mandatory 2% EPF Contribution for Foreign Workers (Effective Oct 2025)

Starting October 2025, all employers must contribute 2%, and foreign employees contribute 2% of monthly wages to EPF.
✅ Who is covered?
Foreign employees (age below 75) holding:
✔ Visitor's Pass (Foreign Workers) – except domestic helpers
✔ Employment Pass
✔ Professional Visit Pass
✔ Student Pass
✔ Residence Pass
✔ Long-Term Social Visit Pass

What Employers Must Do:
1️⃣ Register as EPF Employer (if not yet).
2️⃣ Register Foreign Employees:

Auto-registered: Some workers are auto-registered but must visit EPF branch for thumbprint.
Manual: Bring passport & work pass, fill KWSP 3 form, go to EPF branch for thumbprint.

3️⃣ Update Payroll (2% employer + 2% employee).
4️⃣ Pay by 15th of next month (e.g., Oct wages → 15 Nov).

📢 Important Update for Fellow Employers! | 雇主们请注意！📢

As a business owner who hires foreign employees, we always try to stay updated on EPF changes. Starting October 2025, the EPF statutory contribution rate for non-Malaysian citizen employees will be revised to 2% for both employer and employee.

作为一名聘请外籍员工的企业主，我们始终关注公积金（EPF）的最新动态。从2025年10月起，非大马籍员工的法定EPF缴纳率将调整为雇主与员工各自2%。
