Job Description
Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications, printers, mobile devices and other end-user equipment.
Provide support on setting up, troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintenance and resolving incidents reporting related to laptops, printers and other IT related equipment.
Assist on urgent cases including server and network down, software and hardware fault and etc.
Perform data backup.
Assist in provide training to new users of existing technology.
Perform any duties as assigned.
Job Requirements for Onsite IT Support Engineer
Candidate must possess at least Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Hardware or equivalent.
Proven experience as computer technician or similar role.
Extensive Knowledge of computer hardware systems.
Familiarity with general OS systems, Enterprise Network, and office software.
Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
Knowledge of database and networking security systems
Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components.
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
Well verse in communication abilities.
Exceptional organizing and time-management skills.
