mCare, cloud-ready from the bedside.
Every hospital network drops at some point. The question is what gets lost when it does.
For a long time, labour room monitoring needed a server inside the hospital. It worked, but each hospital stayed on its own.
mCare now runs either way: on a server inside the hospital, or in the cloud, hosted in Malaysia. The hospital chooses, and the software is the same.
Moving to the cloud makes the path from the bedside longer, and a longer path has more places to break. That is why we built nexoLink. It sits at the bedside, connects directly to the monitor, and keeps its own copy of the trace whether the network is up or not. Staff on the hospital network can also log in to it and view that bed's trace.
When the link drops, the ward falls back to how it works today. The bedside monitor still shows the trace and sounds its alarms, and nexoLink keeps recording. mCare's automatic checks and mobile alerts pause until the link returns. Then nexoLink sends what it held, and the gap is analysed and added to the record.
