Motorola Solutions Malaysia was honored to join industry leaders, government partners and ecosystem champions at the recent Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA) 5th Anniversary & Merdeka Celebration Dinner in the presence of distinguished guests including YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow, Chief Minister of Penang, YB Datuk Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI), and YB Sim Tze Tzin, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade & Industry (MITI).

Motorola Solutions Malaysia was thrilled to join JA Malaysia, Penang State Education Department (JPN), schools and fellow corporate partners at the recent Northern Young Enterprise (YE) Sales Fair at Sunshine Central Mall.

As the Area Chair for 2025-2026, we were honored to continue elevating this initiative to even greater heights, building upon a solid 37-year legacy as the cornerstone of youth entrepreneurship. This year, we encouraged students to push conventional boundaries by incorporating STEM+A (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths & Arts) alongside ESG and SDG principles into their business models. Our goal is to shape future Technopreneurs equipped with the entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving skills required for tomorrow's workforce.

A heartfelt thank you to all 17 participating schools for bringing such incredible energy, creativity and enthusiasm to the sales floor! From booth setup and promotion to executing end-to-end retail sales, pitching to judges and participating in corporate business interviews, these young achievers demonstrated remarkable resilience and strategic thinking.

A special shoutout to our adopted school, SMJK Sacred Heart ("Spark Innovation Enterprise), for their dedication and commitment throughout their 7-month journey of R&D in tackling the challenge of plastic waste management.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated corporate mentors who spent months guiding, coaching, and inspiring these young teams every step of the way.

Motorola Solutions Malaysia were honored to host a courtesy visit from the Jabatan Perhubungan Perusahaan (JPP) Penang at our Innoplex facility today.

This visit was particularly special as it coincided with YBrs. Pn. Marina Binti Ibrahim's very first week in office as the newly appointed JPP Penang Director. We were privileged to be her first official stop, marking a wonderful beginning to our continued relationship building and goodwill.

During the session, Pn. Marina took the opportunity to share the JPP's core charter and the many initiatives they are driving to support the local workforce ecosystem. In turn, the JPP team commended Motorola Solutions as a reputable leader in upholding excellent employee relations. They were impressed with our overall employee engagement activities, progressive workplace culture and our unwavering commitment to fostering a positive, include work environment.

Motorola Solutions Malaysia recently wrapped up an incredible, action-packed in-facility MotoWellness Bazaar, a 2-day event dedicated entirely to the health and wellbeing of our employees.

Throughout the event, our employees had access to a comprehensive lineup of primary medical and diagnostics screenings, including specialized procedures and complementary eye and ear checkup sessions.

Beyond medical checkups, our employees had a blast exploring a variety of interactive wellness booths. From chiropractic care and professional dental consultations to footcare analysis and posture assessments, to fresh poke bowls, nutrition shakes and probiotic digestive drinks, there was something for everyone.

Last week was a massive week at Motorola Solutions Malaysia that showcased exactly who we are as a company: customer-centric, forward-thinking, and deeply appreciative of our people.

We kicked off the week in Kuala Lumpur, hosting our annual Hari Raya Open House and celebrating with our valued customers and partners.

We launched the global You & AI event on-site, empowering employees from every business function to learn, experiment and apply AI to their daily tasks. The participation was phenomenal and it was inspiring to see everyone embracing the future of work.

We were privileged to celebrate Scott Mottonen, Senior Vice President, for his retirement visit to Penang. Scott has been a cornerstone of our Penang Design Center leadership since 2017, guiding us through countless firsts and many milestones. Having Scott join our employees for a grand Raya celebration was the perfect final "Malaysian moment" to honor his incredible journey and sterling leadership.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in making the week so impactful.
