This one is a little different from my usual logo posts, as this is not a logo creation as most of my work or a redesign as in the Sleepy Shrimp case.

The client reach out to me with a logo that he himself created, but he wanted it to look more aesthetic, without changing the overall look to it.
-
Having this rules set, I started by realizing what were the problems with the logo: it was too wide and looked stretched; also the combination of round shapes and spikes was a little contradictory, and the font was too light in contrast with the big and bold mark.

And so I embarked on a fine-tuning process, making the logo in a grid based on thirds and pairing with a bolder font.

And so, what do you think of this logo and the process? I want to know your thoughts.
