"Dear members,

Two seats on the Scrum Alliance Board of Directors will become available at the end of 2012, so it's time to look ahead at who will fill the upcoming vacancies. Nominations are now being accepted for review by the Board of Directors Nominating Committee to fill the slots that will open in the coming weeks. The call for nominations will close at midnight Eastern time on Saturday, September 15, 2012.

To nominate community members you feel would be great for these positions, please email their names to [email protected]. At the close of nominations, each nominee will be asked to submit a short bio about themselves to assist the Nominating Committee in selecting candidates to run for election. Once the candidates are chosen, Scrum Alliance members will have the opportunity to vote for who will serve the next round of three-year terms on the Scrum Alliance Board of Directors. Watch for more details on the Scrum Alliance website and follow us on Twitter to be a part of the voting process in the coming weeks.

The Monterrey Agile Group is a passionate group of professionals in the software development process interested in sharing professional experiences, tips, techniques, horror tales, patterns, best practices, and the state of the art of the Agile world so feel free to publish all those ideas here.

Our goal is to build a core group of people that can help shape and guide the direction of the Agile development in Monterrey, Mexico. We seek to share the Agile values with our local community as well as to promote the collaboration and simplicity as a key tool on the software development process.

We are looking for like-minded people who share our same vision and beliefs, therefore our core group is open to anybody who is in alignment with us so if you like this idea then join our group! We’d love to meet with you!
