While the concept was started since November 2004, it was until July 2nd, 2005 when Sergio Bustamante founded the company with Magnus Rubensson, with honorary co-founders Timo Hakala, Tago Kalbri, Ian Wright, Joseph Mudrak and Brett McCrohan. The company was first established as GPLegacy LTD, based in Rickmansworth, England with Sergio Bustamante as President and Magnus Rubensson as Vic

ePresident. The main focus of the company is Sim Racing, providing training tools for professional drivers, as well as making this form of E-Sport known throughout branded events in Mexico. was legally formed with Sergio Bustamante as President and Bogart Escamilla as Secretary. Through 2005 to 2009, the company held over 70 high profile events with brands like Telmex, Telcel, Bridgestone, Tecate, Logitech, Fox Sports, Car Magazine, Renault, Scribe, A1GP Team México, among others. On May 2008 the company became inactive due to a health problem suffered by Sergio Bustamante, with only 2 events from 2008 to 2009, and being in dormant state ever since. Operations by GPLegacy México S.A. have been without participation of Sergio Bustamante and not involving sim racing, nevertheless, GPLegacy remains and will remain a registered trademark of Sergio M.

Introducing one more member of the family to celebrate GPLegacy's 15th anniversary in Sim Racing; The BMW M8 GTE --- The paint is still fresh, will still be working on it as time allows, especially since now iRacing allows for Spec Maps, so there might be a "shinier" version coming just as a test.
