Fue un placer presentar nuestro proyecto a la ministra Mona Neubar. Con ella y con prevent waste alliance estuvimos discutiendo temas de gobierno y proyectos sustentables.
Less than a week after the visit of Minister Mona Neubaur, the next minister came to see us: Svenja Schulze, the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development (Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ)). And she, too, listened attentively and was subsequently impressed - just like the other attendees: Christina Laun of the PREVENT Waste Alliance, Helge Lindh, Member of the SPD-Fraktion im Bundestag, Uwe Schneidewind, Mayor of Wuppertal, Dr. Günter Po**en, CEO of Vorwerk Engineering and Jochen Jehmlich, CEO of GEFA BANK as well as numerous other important representatives from business and science.
The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) views the circular economy as an essential factor for a socially responsible transformation that creates new and fair jobs and helps to achieve the environmental and sustainability agendas. Together with the United Nations, Germany is striving for environmentally friendly management of all waste within the framework of Agenda 2030. Waste volumes are to be reduced as far as possible. In addition to bilateral projects, the BMZ therefore also promotes partnerships with the private sector, non-governmental organizations and international initiatives and has set up its own innovation program for circular economy solutions with the PREVENT Waste Alliance.
