On July 22, Mexico City becomes the center of the conversation for banking and retail in Mexico.

The 16th Revolution Banking & Retail Forum brings together industry leaders for a day centered on the trends and technologies reshaping both industries: artificial intelligence, digital payments, customer experience, and omnichannel strategy. Two events, one day, one room full of the people shaping both industries.

Ancient will be there. If you're attending, let's find time to connect.

One of the harder engineering problems in healthcare right now isn't building new systems. It's getting existing ones to work together.

The shift toward value-based care and population health management means providers need to track patients across multiple organizations over time, not just within a single episode. That requires data to move between systems that were never designed to share it, across different compliance frameworks, in real time. Most healthcare infrastructure was built before that was the expectation.

Closing that gap requires partners who understand both the clinical context and the technical complexity, and who can deliver within the compliance and security requirements healthcare demands. That's the work we're focused on.

74% of insurance companies still rely on outdated core technology. That number, from the Earnix 2024 Industry Trends Report, reflects something we see across healthcare, banking, and insurance: organizations know their infrastructure needs to evolve, but the risk of disrupting systems running critical operations makes full replacement feel unworkable. In most cases, it is. The core system has years of records in it. The integrations took years to build.

The more practical path is to build around existing systems rather than replace them. Modern APIs that expose data from legacy platforms. Integration middleware that connects claims or care coordination tools to a core system without requiring migration. Front-end experiences that are modern while the underlying data stays exactly where it is.

That discipline transfers directly to healthcare: understand the existing systems, build integrations that are stable and maintainable, and modernize incrementally so current operations stay intact throughout.

The most common reason healthcare data initiatives don't deliver isn't unrealistic goals or the wrong tools. It's that the initiative was scoped as a project when the actual need was infrastructure. When a data foundation is treated as a one-time deliverable, it tends to work at launch and degrade once the implementation team moves on.

In healthcare, that's particularly costly. Systems get updated, new clinical programs create new data needs, regulatory requirements shift. A 2025 Ataccama report found that one in five businesses still lack a data governance framework entirely, and 42% of organizations prioritize regulatory compliance without their data teams aligned to it. That disconnect is exactly where data foundations quietly fail.

What we build is designed for that reality from the start: pipelines that are monitored over time, governance policies that are documented and enforced, and data models that can absorb new sources without disrupting what's already working. The analytics get the attention. The foundation is what makes them reliable.
