Airwave Technologies, in short Airtechs, was founded by Chisomo Daka and was officially registered as a legally bounded business under the laws of Malawi through the office of the registrar of companies on the 13th of February in t
he year 2017. In brief, Chisomo’s initial inspiration for a much better Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry in Malawi and across the realms of the developing world originated from his co-authorship of the book entitled "ICT Infrastructural Development in the Developing World". Thus Airwave Technologies originally started as an intervention towards the notion for ICT innovation action and later advanced to become an ICT business. Primarily Airwave Technologies is an IT business which offers a wide variety of ICT products and services ranging from ICT business consultations to software development and other professional IT services. In essence, the core business of Airtechs is to help bridge up the ICT gab in Malawi and beyond by serving the ICT needs of small (including startups), medium and large scale enterprises. Beyond this, the company is also committed to undertake ICT research consultations and organize ICT related workshops and trainings. Airwave Technologies also provides ICT solutions across many sectors of development including e-Health, e-Agriculture, e-Education, Smart Homes & Cities (i.e. In Malawi, Airtechs aims at interoperating with different government departments (i.e. public institutions), the private sector (both for-profit and non-profit organizations) and international counterparts. At Airwave Technologies we believe that the ICT industry is ever growing and the need for better and safer technologies intended for personal use, organizational operations, market assessment & advertisement, education, entertainment and many others creates a gateway through which new and innovative ICT products and services can easily pe*****te into the real world.
