Participants in this course will learn
how to do splicing of fibre cables,
testing of fibre cables using OTDR
and power meters and maintenance
of fibre optic cabling systems.
The course provides both theory
lectures and hands-on labs which
demonstrate practical knowledge
of industry-standard installation
practices.
This course prepares students to
enter an entry level fibre optic 1
installer position.
