The branding behind Ask Kuraa 🫖

We built Kuraa, a Dhivehi AI platform, so modern technology could bring Dhivehi back into our everyday life, easily. For its identity, we wanted something local at heart, and strong in presence, the logo, the name, the strategy, all grew from that, in-house.

The name carries a double meaning, “kurun,” the Dhivehi word for “to do,” and Kuraa, the kettle found in almost every Maldivian home. That same kettle shaped the icon, giving the brand an instantly familiar, local face.

Earthy greens and browns ground the palette, layered with muted blues and warm sky gradients, while grain, film imperfections, and dappled light keep things feeling nostalgic yet contemporary. Dhivehi tech, made to feel like home.

Gourmet on the go — that’s the whole idea behind Chao by Mū 👋

Nearly a year ago, we built the name, brand identity, and strategy for Mū Kitchen’s multi-cuisine, experimental concept that sought to take the craveable, familiar food you know and give it real quality and taste.

One hero colour + colour blocking, a playful, quirky personality, and visuals designed to be eaten with your eyes first. Because if it’s gourmet, it should look like it too.

Introducing ‘Sai’, the font we brewed specially for Ask Kuraa

Designed by our type foundry RaajjeType Foundry , Sai is a Dhivehi typeface made for how Kuraa actually talks back, in Dhivehi and English, side by side. We shaped the letterforms to sit naturally next to Latin type, staying legible and clean without losing that distinct Dhivehi character, while lining up cleanly with Kuraa’s buttons and UI components by default.

Just the kind of project we love working on! ❤️

For The Island Economist, Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA)'s magazine on economics and finance, we built a unique brand identity, a system in deep indigo and warm sand, colors that feel serious without being cold, elegant without losing edge.

We designed every touchpoint: logo, merch, magazine layout, and website landing page. Futuristic illustrations merge photography with graphic details throughout, giving the brand a deeper, layered meaning.

🪄Fun fact: the logo is a book, viewed from a side angle, a small detail that carries the whole idea of the brand: a publication built to be opened, read, and returned to.

SAFF U20 brings that same electric energy to the Maldives this time and the branding is for sure matching the hype 🤩

Colors pulled straight from all seven nations' flags with the main logo element reflecting an iconic cultural element of the Maldives—“Bashi” 🇲🇻
