This one deserves a story before the first sip. 🍸

Meet Roraima, Toro Toro’s signature cocktail, named after Mount Roraima, the spectacular flat-topped mountain rising where Venezuela, Guyana and Brazil meet.

In the glass, Chivas 12, lime, demerara syrup, coconut liqueur and milk punch come together in a mildly tropical sweet-and-sour contrast of flavours with a rich and creamy foam, finished with a decadent banana chip perched on top.

It looks just as interesting as it tastes, so if cocktails are part of your dinner plans, this is definitely the one I’d start with.

My first Bookia Editor’s Pick had to be one by the sea 🌊

Ventuno in Mellieħa is one of those places that just works. Their fresh seafood is my personal favourite, but there’s also plenty of choice if fish isn’t your thing, not to mention great drinks and a front-row view of Mellieħa Bay.

And if cocktails are more your thing, their daily Happy Hour from 4–6pm is a pretty good excuse to head down early 🍸

Lunch, dinner, inside, outside… pick your preference and give yourself time to enjoy it, as you might end up staying longer than planned.
