Vacancy for IT Support Specialist
Job details: The purpose of this role is to provide hardware and software end user support to our clients.
This will entail: assisting users with hardware and software problems; implementing, maintaining and managing desktop computers, laptops, printers and other hardware; manage and escalate user queries.
Qualifications:
• 1+ year experience in a similar role
• Team player who is ambitious and motivated
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patience working with others
• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift and move equipment as required
• Valid driving license
• Clean police conduct
Technical Qualifications
• Hands on experience in desk side troubleshooting (PCs, Printers, Mobiles and Tablets)
• Application support experience of word processing applications (MS Word), email applications (MS Outlook), spreadsheet and presentation applications (MS Excel /MS PowerPoint), accounting applications (Sage) and remote communications applications (MS RDP)
• Administrative knowledge and experience of Microsoft back-office products including (but not limited to) Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Exchange Server, understanding of Networking Directory Services, Microsoft ADS, LDAP, TCP/IP DHCP, DNS, WINS.
• Knowledge of VoIp systems and Mikrotik configuration/maintenance is an asset
