Q4 starts on Thursday. Before it does, twelve things worth settling.
1. Which licences renew before December, and which renewed already without anyone deciding.
2. What hardware is past end of life and still in production.
3. How far behind the patch backlog actually is.
4. When the last successful restore test was, and whether Microsoft 365 was in it.
5. Whether anyone new starting in Q4 has been planned for or will be handled on the day.
6. Which single person holds knowledge that exists nowhere else.
7. Whether wireless coverage matches the current device count or the one from three years ago.
8. Whether the phone system is a decision or an inheritance.
9. What the security posture would look like if someone external assessed it this week.
10. Which recurring manual task costs the most hours per month.
11. What the capital versus operating expenditure split needs to be next year.
12. What is in the budget because it is needed, and what is in it because it was in last year's.
Most of these are twenty-minute conversations that get deferred into January.

If any of the twelve is uncomfortable to answer, that is where to start.
