🛡️ Our first S.H.I.E.L.D. Newsletter is out!

Cyberattacks on health and social care institutions are rising, and many individuals, organisations, and professionals need the skills to fight back. That's exactly what S.H.I.E.L.D. is built for.

In this first edition, we're sharing:

📍 The official project launch at Czech Technical University in Prague (Nov 2025)
📍 Our second consortium meeting in Volos, Greece, where partners accelerated curriculum development
📍 A systematic literature review from research report D2.1, on existing tools, and knowledge collection
📍 Early findings from our research report D2.2, which draws on 58 questionnaires and 36 Living Lab interviews

🛡️SHIELD-eu project ramps up activities to strengthen cybersecurity awareness, skills and preparedness across the health and social care sector in Europe.

🚨 Cyberattacks on health and social care (HSC) institutions are rising, but Europe is fighting back!

As a proud partner in the new Erasmus+ SHIELD project, Seasus is excited to help build a safer future for health and social care across Europe.

SHIELD-eu - Securing Health & Social Care Institutions’ Resilience to Cybercrimes through Empowerment, Literacy and Digital Skills – is a 3-year initiative (2025–2028) that equips students, professionals and organisations with the knowledge and tools they need to stay one step ahead of cyber threats.

We’re turning awareness into real resilience, though:
✅ A practical training curriculum
✅ A gamified e-learning platform and mobile app
✅ Guidelines to help health & social care institutions better prevent and respond to cyber-attacks
