• Provide 2nd line support to client environments
• Support Microsoft 365, Azure, Hyber V & Active Directory
• Monitor systems and respond to alerts
• Assist with backups, security & patching
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and network issues
• Support projects, migrations & deployments
• Liaise with support teams via the ticketing system
• Follow up and manage high-priority escalations

We are looking for Junior Desktop Support Specialists who can provide support services for the entire corporate network. The successful candidates will work with our Desktop Support team to
support our corporate users in their IT requirements and challenges and make sure the corporate users are being as productive as possible. The Support Specialists will also be able to identify and report issues requiring prompt escalation.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- First point of contact for the corporate users
- Provide corporate users with support, by handling user problems reported via telephone, emails, instant messaging channels and tickets.
- Track all the support issues in the ticketing system, clearly grouping them for easier tracking
- Via the ticketing system, liaising with other support teams to resolve calls logged
- Provide a high standard of communication and customer service with the business both written and verbal
- Follow up existing tickets, escalate high priority
- Ensure current procedures and standards are followed
- Remotely support PCs, laptops, and software related issues/ queries
- Remotely support locations/offices where the corporate users are connected
- Methodical troubleshooting to determine cause of problems and apply solutions professionally
- Maintain a high level of conduct, ethical standards and values.
Qualifications and Skills
- IT Related Education/certification
- ITIL 4 Certification would be an asset
- Experience working with customer support
- 2+ years technical support experience
- Demonstrated ability in supporting users

Working knowledge of:
- Operating Systems
- Networking
- Security (*Desirable)
- Telecommunications *(Desirable)
- Hardware and Software
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Cisco IP phones *(Desirable)
- Experience with network troubleshooting i.e. ping, traceroute
- Excellent verbal and written English
- A “can do” attitude and comfortable managing competing priorities to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
- Flexibility around working schedule
