We are hiring a Scrum Master for a project:
Job Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Company Description

Intec LLC is dedicated to making information and communications technology (ICT) a key driver of economic development in Mongolia. We contribute to the increasing role of ICT in the country by supporting enterprises of all sizes in adopting and utilizing ICT in their daily operations. We also assist public sector, governmental bodies, NGOs, and individuals in improving their skills and increasing their usage of ICT to meet market needs and demands.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Scrum Master, located on-site in Mongolia. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings. They will work closely with project teams to remove impediments, ensure optimal team performance, and manage user stories to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Effective communication with stakeholders and team members is a crucial part of the role.

* Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the backlog
* Track team performance using Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts)
* Encourage transparency, accountability, and teamwork
* Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile methods
* Support Agile transformation across the organization
* Coordinate tasks and bring people together to complete key initiatives
* Prepare supporting materials and content
* Align with stakeholders and follow up on agreed actions
* Lead stakeholder engagement and change management
* Perform other related duties as needed

Qualifications

* Experience in Sprint Planning and managing User Stories
* Strong Communication and Analytical Skills
* Background in Software Development would be a benefit
* Proven ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and remove impediments
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
* Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or other Scrum certifications preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration or Management or related field
* 2+ years of experience in Agile roles (Scrum Master or Agile Coach)
* Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile frameworks
* Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
* Ability to manage multiple teams or projects
* Good English verbal and written communication
