Last week in Kinshasa, PCES brought together leaders from the microfinance sector to discuss a key question:
How can MFIs move from digitization to true digital transformation?
This was the focus of our event:
From Digitization to Digital Transformation: Building Innovative MFIs in the DRC.
The event gathered executives from microfinance institutions to exchange perspectives on the realities of digital transformation, from strategy and technology choices to implementation and long-term support.
Throughout the discussions, we explored practical approaches to digital transformation, including how MFIs can move beyond simply adopting software to truly redesign their operations and services.
Following the event, our Digitalization Expert Christophe Bretagnolle shared his reflections on the conversations and what they reveal about the evolution of the microfinance sector in the DRC.
