On September 18, ACEM has the honour to organise the second edition of the Embedded Moldova Conference, part of Moldova Business Week. The event brought together people who share the same vision: building a smarter, more competitive, and more connected Moldova through technology and innovation.
The opening messages set the tone for the day:
🔹 Natalia Bejan, General Director of Invest Moldova Agency (Agenția de Investiții din Moldova), reminded us how far Moldova has come. With more than 90% of electronics produced locally being exported, and 9 out of 10 components reaching the European Union, the electronics industry is not only part of the Moldovan economy, it is part of Europe’s industrial fabric.
🔹 Doina Nistor, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization (MDED), spoke about the bigger picture, Moldova’s clear objective to double economic growth and align with the EU. Digitalisation and Industry 4.0 are not just trends, but necessities. Mrs Nistor emphasised that intelligent growth, fueled by innovation and technology, can raise our GDP and transform the way we work and live.
🔹 Guido Beltrani, Director of the Swiss Cooperation in Moldova
SDC in Moldova, highlighted Switzerland’s continuous support for more than a decade, from partnerships with associations to equipping modern laboratories in Moldova’s educational institutions. His message was clear: investing in education and training today means securing the talent and innovation of tomorrow.
🔹 Vitalie Eșanu, President of ACEM, reminded us that the real engine of progress lies in people and talent. Only by nurturing skills in embedded systems will Moldova be able to scale up and strengthen its presence on global markets.
This conference was more than an event. It was a place of connection, collaboration, and inspiration. A space where government, business, academia, and international partners came together to shape the future of an industry that already places Moldova on the global map.
💡 The Embedded Moldova Conference is proof that when vision meets action, small countries can achieve a big impact. Moldova’s electronics and embedded systems sector is not just growing — it is becoming an engine of progress for our country and a trusted partner for Europe and beyond.
This event was organised with the support of the "Strong Businesses and Communities for Moldova" project, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development ( ) and Swiss Government, implemented by GIZ Moldova.
