Tanger Print Club We are a screen printing studio based in Tangier. We produce high quality, handmade and limited edit T.P.C is a project by Think Tanger

TANGER PRINT CLUB is a printing studio dedicated to visual art production. Launched in 2017 and formerly known as Atelier Kissaria, the T.P.C is a laboratory through which artists, artisans, and researchers meet, exchange and produce new bodies of work related to printing practices. Our mission is to promote the emergence of a new visual culture in Morocco through independent printing practices. T

o do so, we collaborate with both established and emergent artists, produce high quality, handmade, limited print editions at an affordable price ranging and offer a series workshops about printing technics.

Tanja Visual Dictionary: Architecture Edition is an A3, 3-colour Risograph print by Kamal Daghmoumi Kamal Daghmoumi while the 3D models were made by Thomas Egoumenides during his residency at Think Tanger.

Part of the ongoing Tanja Visual Dictionary series, the poster brings together four iconic landmarks that have long shaped Tangier’s architectural landscape: Bolsa, Cinema Roxy, Cinema Rif, and Mosquée Sidi Bou Abid. Illustrated like archival studies, each building is reinterpreted through layered geometric forms, celebrating the city’s rich architectural heritage and the familiar landmarks that define its urban identity.

Printed in a limited edition at the Cinémathèque de Tanger with the precious help of Nawar N.

Tanja Visual Dictionary: Food Edition is an A3, 3-colour Risograph print by Kamal Daghmoumi Kamal Daghmoumi .
Part of the ongoing Tanja Visual Dictionary series, the poster brings together six iconic flavors found across Tangier’s streets and cafés: Atay Chamali, Fakoussa, Bayssar, Bocadillo, Caliente, and Lengua. Illustrated like specimens from a field guide, it celebrates the everyday foods that quietly shape the city’s visual and cultural identity.

En partant du découpage, chaque groupe construit une image abstraite pensée comme une couche, qui viendra dialoguer avec celles des autres au moment de l’impression.

Une journée à imprimer avec les formes du vivant.

À partir de plantes, de feuilles et d’éléments botaniques récoltés, les participant·e·s ont exploré la sérigraphie sans intermédiaire numérique, en utilisant directement la nature comme pochoir.

Chaque composition a révélé les textures, les vides et les détails de chaque végétal, donnant naissance à une série d’impressions uniques ainsi qu’à une affiche collective.

Concept note (EN)
A workshop about making a publication from a single sheet.
Starting from one printed poster, participants explore folding and cutting as tools for storytelling and publication. Through a sequence of simple transformations, a single sheet gradually becomes a booklet, revealing images and texts as it is unfolded, folded, and read.
Working from the same printed poster, participants collectively produce the same publication while discovering how format, sequence, and materiality shape the reading experience. The workshop introduces folding as a simple yet powerful publishing technique, where a single sheet can become a complete editorial object.
No prior experience needed. All materials provided. Everyone leaves with their own folded publication.

Un atelier pour fabriquer une publication à partir d’une seule feuille.
À partir d’une affiche imprimée, les participant·e·s explorent le pliage et le découpage comme outils de narration et d’édition. Au fil d’une série de transformations simples, une seule feuille se transforme progressivement en livret, révélant textes et images au rythme des plis, des découpes et de la lecture.
En travaillant à partir d’une même affiche imprimée, les participant·e·s réalisent collectivement une même publication tout en découvrant comment le format, la séquence et la matérialité façonnent l’expérience de lecture. Concept note (EN)
A workshop about making books from what already exists.
Participants start with a pile of recovered printed matter; magazines, catalogues, photographs, loose pages, old documents, and compose their own book from it. Through cutting, collaging, and arranging fragments of text and image, each person builds a personal narrative: associative, intuitive, entirely their own.
The second part of the day is an introduction to basic hand-bookbinding, giving the assembled pages a proper physical form to take home.
The workshop is loosely inspired by the tradition of the livre pauvre, the idea that you don’t need much to make something meaningful, and that working with existing material is its own creative act.

No prior experience needed. All materials provided. Everyone leaves with their own hand-bound book.

Un atelier pour fabriquer des livres à partir de ce qui existe déjà.
Les participant·e·s démarrent avec un ensemble d’imprimés récupérés, magazines, catalogues, photographies, pages volantes, documents divers, et composent leur propre livre à partir de là. Par le découpage, le collage et la mise en page de fragments de textes et d’images, chacun·e construit un parcours personnel : associatif, intuitif, entièrement le sien.
La deuxième partie de la journée est une initiation à la reliure manuelle de base, pour donner aux pages assemblées une forme physique à ramener chez soi.
L’atelier s’inspire librement de la tradition du livre pauvre, l’idée qu’on n’a pas besoin de grand-chose pour faire quelque chose de juste, et que travailler avec des matériaux existants est en soi un acte créatif.

Aucune connaissance préalable n’est nécessaire. Tout le matériel est fourni. Chaque participant·e repart avec son propre livre relié à la main.
