This is something we've been waiting for a long time - TimeCaps iOS & Android app delivered! 🚀

Imagine you could send time capsules to the future… Well, it’s now possible with the new mobile application TimeCaps!

Sounds breathtaking? Actually, it is. And you should definitely try it - download the app, create a video, name it, set privacy, pick an opening year & date and send it to the future. When it’s done video will be locked to watch until the time comes for the right moment!

Team Tecco was responsible for the infrastructure, backend, iOS & Android development. It’s been 9 months of active development & ongoing continuous delivery of new features.

One of the main challenges was to organize a smooth & stable video shooting & uploading process which is not an easy task to do for very large video files in unstable networks. But using multiple step upload process & compressing transfer along the way we managed to do that!

What’s interesting inside the app? Lots of things! You can upload videos straight from the phone’s library or shoot a new one right from the app, pick a frame & crop it, name it, tag friends, choose a location, set privacy and of course - choose the capsule opening date & time. The app comes with the 2-side feed consisting of locked & open caps with an option to like & comment on the content, view friends & their content, notifications, Instagram-like profile and much more 🔥

The project is complex with very different knowledge bases required so the team was packed from more than 15 high-class in-house & outsourced specialists & mentors. TimeCaps is definitely something we’re proud of in Tecco. We keep working on the new releases so follow up the news - TimeCaps

We thought that this sunny day is a great reason to share one of our previous works with you! 1 year ago we've launched the website for Veselības centrs 4 and still receive positive feedback from the website users which motivates us being more progressive & competent each day!

''Veselības centrs 4'' currently is one of the largest private outpatient medical institutions in Latvia with diagnostics, treatment, rehabilitation and aesthetic medicine as main directions of activity.

We've reconsidered the structure of the previous website & developed the new more intuitive & easy to use version which has minimalistic & clean design. The backend is synchronized with the "Smart Medical" system.

The research showed that website users loved the interactive sidebar the most - make an appointment, quick contacts & special offers. And what do you think about it?

Job's done! The new version of "InternetAptieka" pharmacy e-shop is delivered in cooperation with creative Sergiolaskin.com & experienced CUBE Systems. The new brand identity, rethinked UX, custom illustrations with smooth micro-animations, wide range of functionality, starting with complex special offers & finishing with various system integrations.

Our experienced project manager Janis & VENDEN driver Kaspars are testing the delivery app made for VENDEN drivers.

For us, as developers, it's important to execute not only remote product tests and handle the QA, but also to make sure the product fits all the requirements in real life. Also, during the "In-field" tests it's possible to find new corner-cases & things to improve.

That's why from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM guys were going through all the delivery processes starting from the receiving the personal route to actual spring water delivery to 45 Riga offices, managing the orders & receiving the e-signature of VENDEN clients at the delivery point. 🚛💧📱
