Take a look behind the design of our Monaco Blackjack Studio

As we recently announced the new studio, we thought it was the perfect moment to chat with our Lead Studio Designer Sofija Pavlovica about the creative journey and her inspiration behind it.
𝗪-𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺: 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀?
𝗦𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗷𝗮: Absolutely! The elegant lobby of the Hôtel Hermitage, listed among the world’s top hotels, was a key source of inspiration. Its timeless luxury helped shape the atmosphere we wanted to bring into the studio design.
𝗪-𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀?
𝗦𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗷𝗮: Designing a live casino studio is more exciting because the variety of styles, themes, and materials you can use is almost unlimited. In some ways, it’s easier since the decorations are mostly visual rather than functional, but at the same time it’s more complex because only a limited portion is visible on the screen—sometimes requiring clever use of optical illusions.
𝗪-𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺: 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗼𝗳?
𝗦𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗷𝗮: The detail I’m proudest of is actually one most players will never realize is there. It’s a little secret woven into the design. And that’s exactly why it works so well.
