16/07/2022
As of 03/22/2022, only 15 out of 271 EU crowdfunding platforms (0 out of 54 in Italy, 3 out of 109 in France) have applied for a crowdfunding license. The transitional period will end on 11/10/2022.
Crowdfunding providers not authorized on time would need to stop charging fees to clients (investors and project owners) while continuing to bear their fixed operational costs. On-going crowdfunding projects offered on platforms of crowdfunding service providers not authorized before 10 November 2022 will need to be immediately suspended.
