Congratulations to our clients, whose books have been nominated for the Urhunden Award 2026 in the Best Original Swedish Graphic Novel category for titles published in 2025, presented by Seriefrämjandet - The Swedish Comics Association.

The Urhunden Award, established in 1987, is one of the key recognitions in the Nordic comics scene. The winners will be announced on May 15 at the Stockholm International Comics Festival.

Last week we had the pleasure of being present at the Bologna Children's Book Fair, joining the Latvian Literature stand and appreciating their work in bringing Latvian publishing to an international audience. 📚🌍

It was a great opportunity to reconnect with clients, meet new publishers and exchange insights on current trends in children’s book publishing, from formats and materials to finishing choices. 🎨

Events like Bologna are always a valuable reminder of how diverse and creative this segment of the industry is and how important collaboration is in bringing these projects to life. 🔗

🍎✨ Vakar aizvadīta Latvijas Grāmatizdevēju asociācija rīkotā grāmatu mākslas konkursa "Zelta ābele 2025" noslēguma ceremonija. No sirds sveicam visus nominantus un laureātus!

Paldies par uzticēšanos un iespēju būt par daļu no šiem svētkiem. Reizēm autoru un mākslinieku drosmīgās ieceres mūs mēdz izaicināt, taču tieši šāda uzticēšanās ciešā sadarbībā ļauj īstenot nebijušus risinājumus vai tehnoloģiski sarežgītus darbus.

❣📚 Labākais plāns šīs nedēļas nogalei - aicinām ikvienu šodien un rīt piedzīvot drukātu grāmatu burvību dažādos pasākumos Rīgas Grāmatu svētkos Latvijas Nacionālajā bibliotēkā, kur, starp visu citu aizraujošo, varēs arī aplūkot visas "Zelta ābele 2025" nominētās grāmatas.
