Job Opportunity - 6 Medior Scrum Masters.

Location:
Brussels (Close to the Central Station) and accept to travel occasionally to Berlin (travel costs paid by Elia).
Two days per week of homeworking. More homeworking days can be allowed depending on the need of the mission owner.
Work regime: 100%
Price : not fixed but as we are not the only provider, we must be reasonable

What we are not looking for:
A Project Manager, a Product Owner, a Tech Lead, etc. disguised in a Scrum Master because it’s the open vacation. We receive in average 50 resumes and more than 60% are PM/PO/TL who has the “knowledge” of the SM role.
A renegotiation of the price once the candidate is in an Intake because the candidate did not agree on this rate, but you wanted to come first in the list. Please align on the rate with the candidate before applying.
What we are looking for :
Transparency and honesty on the application. If the candidate has not yet embraced the role of a Scrum Master in different companies for at least 3 years, please write a very good motivation on why Scrum Master is her/his new career move.
We are looking for long-term collaboration with people human centric who will focus on the people in the team to support.
Agile hard skills are necessary however, Agile soft skills are mandatory!

General info of the assignment:
Elia Group started to implement Lean six years ago with Application Development and Maintenance (Business Analyst and IT) and some projects in the business (outside IT) with the Scrum framework. Now, new Agile initiatives are popping up a bit everywhere in the company. From prototyping in our incubator to long-run teams acting in very big products critical for the business and keep the light on. Our Agile Chapter mission is to support Elia Teams in their cultural change toward a continuous improvement.
We deeply trust that Agility will support the Digital transformation needed to embrace the Energy Transition.
More or less 60 FTE are dedicated to the support of the teams.
We are looking for 6 Scrum Masters:
There are many open Scrum Master positions to join the product transformation. The consultant will support two teams. We aim for stable teams, so we try to find with the consultant what are the teams suit the consultant the most in order to commit on at least one year support without changing teams.

The Scrum Master helps individuals to adopt the right mindset and behaviors, the teams to embrace continuous improvement and the organization to truly collaborate with the Agile teams:
Soft skills over hard skills
Facilitate over solving
Adapt to the need over doing by the book
Working team over working product
Team up with the existing Agile Chapter team:
Main mission: integrate two teams and enables their culture.
Two days a month equivalent: participate to our Agile Chapter team events (scrum events, agile clinic, strategy brainstorm, community of practice, offsites, etc.).
Punctually:
Help the coaches on workshop/training co-facilitation.

Proven work experience as Scrum Master
At least 3 years
At least has been part of 2-3 different teams as a Scrum Master
In a different context than IT is a plus
For more than one company is a big plus
Team and individual focused attitude
Know, own and apply, also for himself, the Agile mindset (value and principles)
Able to provide a positive and constructive feedback for improvement
Ability to work fully independently & plan Scrum activities without supervision
Able to train Scrum, Kanban, agile and others techniques
Mastery of several Agile project/product management approaches (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) to be flexible depending on the team needs
Team virtual and physical facilitation skills & focusing on creating the right environment for the team
Strong interest in innovation and eager to experiment new techniques
Knowledge of Design Thinking Process and related methods and tools (nice to have)
Knowledge of UX design/development frameworks (nice to have)
Languages :
Fluent in English
Any of those languages is a plus: German, French or Dutch.
