For one day, Ruptela went Wild West! 🌵🐴

🔦 Location visibility should not end with a lost GNSS signal.

The new Cell ID fallback positioning feature helps maintain location visibility in underground parking, garages, warehouses, and GNSS-disrupted areas. It serves as a secondary location source when GNSS is unavailable, not a full replacement for it.

The GPS tracking device scans up to five nearby cellular towers when satellite connections drop and sends this information to the server, which has enough information to generate an alternative position estimate.

This additional data improves the approximate location estimate, particularly in urban and suburban environments.

Cell ID fallback positioning is now available across a diverse range of Ruptela hardware: HCV5, Pro5, LCV5, Smart5, Plug5, Eco5, Eco5 Lite, Eco5 BM, and Asset5 devices.
