Curiosity brings people together.
At this year's summer event, every team received the same clues, yet no two journeys looked exactly alike. Some found answers quickly, others took unexpected turns.
Much like at work, there wasn't one right way to get there. Different perspectives, different approaches, one destination.
Sometimes, finding the way together matters more than finding the answer. ☀️

Last week, our Team Lead Edvinas Vitkus delivered a lecture to Vilnius University students – "The Anatomy of a Software Development Team." Which roles are growing, which are transforming, how teams work, and what to learn now as AI reshapes the way teams operate.

And yesterday, our People and Culture team joined VU Career Days – meeting students face to face, talking about the tech world, and giving them a real sense of what a career in IT could look like.

Two different formats. The same intent: sharing what we know with people who are at the start of their journey – and making sure the answers are worth something.

Curiosity deserves a proper answer.
Last week, we hosted a group of Code Academy students – different backgrounds, different ages, curious about where IT is headed. We talked through Metasite's culture and how we work, and our Software Architect Donatas Zubavicius joined to discuss AI – what it changes, what it doesn't, and where the real opportunities are.
We believe the IT industry grows when experienced teams share what they've learned – and the people who will shape it in the near future get real answers while the questions are still fresh.

People commit more strongly when they have a choice. It's not about removing structure – it's about rules you've chosen rather than rules imposed on you.
We see this in how our teams work – align on the goal, leave room for people to find their own path to it.
This year, we applied the same principle to our winter event. Multiple activities, everyone chose what suited them. The result? People naturally gravitated towards what energised them and connected with colleagues who'd made similar choices.
Freedom to choose brings teams closer. 🤝
