😢Psychologists call the period after the New Year holidays and February the most depressing time of the year … but we at Softeq totally disagree! 🤩

Now we will tell you what January was like and what awaits us in the last month of winter! Here we go!👇

🔹We celebrated the Winter Sparkling Party and happily entered the New Year 2023 with lots of positive emotions and colorful holiday photos and videos! Check out the post and video tagged on our Instagram feed to see how it was!🪩

🔹One of our portfolio companies, Halo Collar , and their amazing team were recognized as the 2023 Connected Pet Care Solution of the Year by IoT Breakthrough!

🔹Meanwhile, the Teqies in Lithuania continue to set personal sports records! Our active girls Tatyana Gorelova and Yana Kalashnikova (and also 1 cute dog!) successfully completed a 16 km hike in Kernavė, Lithuania! Girls, we are proud of you! 🏆

🔷And we have another ❄️cold month of February ahead of us, but with lots of 🔥hot events!
We are actively preparing to celebrate Valentine's Day and ... Softeq Birthday! We will be 26 years old! So cancel all your plans for February 20th, and stay tuned! 🎥 We have come up with something fun 🎁 for our Teqies and all our followers !😉

🤩We never stop being amazed by our Teqies, who are not only professionals at their jobs, great friends, and colleagues but also have an active lifestyle and manage to do EVERYTHING literally!

Today our Softeq Inspiration column hero, Herman Yulau - Embedded Linux Developer, runner, orienteer, mountaineer, and... this is a partial list of our Teqie's sporting hobbies!

His story will be a source of inspiration and motivation for the Teqies to come together more often for new sporting achievements!👇

"🏃🏻I have run several marathons, but not in popular cities, but trail marathons - through local forests and fields. The longest distance I ran was 70 km. 🥶In winter. Through woods and fields. In the frost. Knee-deep in snow. And it was the BEST race of my life, but I have a new challenge for myself - skyrunning. I've been dreaming about it for a long time!🌟

🧭Now I've gone from just running to orienteering! The best sport I can imagine! There is a type of orienteering called rogaining. A classic rogaine is when you are given 24 hours and a giant map. You have to score maximum points in a set amount of time, awarded for visiting checkpoints marked on the competition map. I participated in such in 2018 in the European Championship (Pre-Carpathian). Orienteering in the mountains non-stop for 24 hours, where there was probably everything: heat, thunderstorm, sunset, dawn, impenetrable night, cold, hunger. The best experience of my life! I want to do it again)

🏔️Mountains are another one of my loves.) I was in the Ukrainian Carpathians, Polish Tatra. The highest point climbed is the mountain Kazbek, 5034m.
During the pandemic, I greatly missed the mountains. Afterward, when the opportunity arose again, I decided that I could lead mountain treks myself. So, independently and as a group leader, I have hiked two times: in the Caucasus near Adygea and Turkey on the Lycian Trail.

⚽️I am also engaged in rock climbing, football, swimming, acrobatics, canoeing, and hiking - without any remarkable achievements, just for adventure."

🤩After a fantastic party, it's always hard to choose the top 10 pictures for a photo report, but it's almost impossible this time. We have never seen so many beautiful, bright, elegant, and sparkling Teqies; if we had the chance, we would post all the pics!

🕺💃Last week we had an offline Sparkling Party in Vilnius!
Teqies from different countries came together, and it was really rocking!

There was everything:
✨Hot dancing!
✨Musical performances by our colleagues and karaoke!
✨Delicious food and drinks!
✨Laughter, warm conversations, surprise meetings, and hugs!

🚀Consumer Electronics Show is the world's largest technology exhibition, which takes place at the beginning of the year in Las Vegas. This year the event was held from January 5 to 8, and our leadership team went there immediately after the New Year holidays and saw all the technological innovations with our own eyes, not from the reviews in the news!👀

👋With over 130K total attendees, it was sure nice to see some familiar faces like the HTX Labs team and our client Wagz, Inc at this year's conference.
We also met with several large investors for our Venture Fund and spoke to many potential startups for our Venture Studio.

🤗But more than anyone else, we were happy and proud to meet our startups from Softeq Venture Studio - Vela Bikes (Q1'22 Cohort) and Motusi (H1'22 Cohort).
Huge shoutout to you friends for conquering the expo hall, and we wish you great success!⭐️

The has been held in the U.S. every year since 1967, and one of our Teqies has attended 30 of them!
