30 years ago, Shaquille O'Neal met Lithuania on the court.

Today, as a NordVPN ambassador, he has landed in Lithuania, Nord Security’s home.

Yesterday’s Startup Fair was all about ideas, ambition, and the people willing to put both to the test.

Vytautas Sabalys, our Head of VC Investments, joined the Pitch Battle judging panel to challenge early-stage ideas, question the thinking behind them, and spot the founders with the potential to take things further. “In terms of creative process, I kind of believe there isn’t any.”

Last Friday, At Creative Munch, Matt Curtis, Executive Creative Director at Uncommon Creative Studio, took our creative community — and everyone who finds creativity even in the most technical work — inside the thinking behind ideas that refuse to play it safe.

The conversation went beyond “where do good ideas come from?” and into something more useful: how do you build the taste to recognise one?

Matt’s take: give the algorithm a day off. Travel. Say yes to weird plans. Fall down film, culture and old-magazine rabbit holes — whatever gives your taste something new to chew on.

A good reminder to look wider, trust the uncomfortable, and make it uncommon.

That was the focus of this year’s QA Fest, where 400 people from the Tesonet QA community came together to dig into the challenges shaping the future of quality.

A few takeaways? Ask better questions to uncover weak spots. Automate the maintenance work that gets in the way. And when testing AI, “looks fine” is only the beginning.
