At the beginning of 2024, Agmis, together with project partners Spedlite and Vytautas Magnus University, launched the project “5G, Artificial Intelligence and Optimization Methods for Next Generation Logistics Solutions.”
Project goal – to develop an advanced digital product tailored for transport and logistics companies, combining real-time data, artificial intelligence, and next-generation connectivity.
What has been achieved so far:
• Analysis of real transport and freight market data
• Integrations with transport exchanges (Timocom, Trans.eu, LKW)
• Integrations with telematics systems (Loctracker / Locshare, FleetMaster)
• Development of core platform functionalities
• Deployment of Teltonika CAT M1 devices for real users
• Multiple research activities, experiments, and validation tests
The product has already been introduced to the public and target users, and continuous improvements have been made based on user feedback.
The latest milestone – a comprehensive UI/UX update, improving usability and user experience across the platform.
What’s next:
• Development of a 5G-based tracking mobile application
• Further optimization of the AI module to enhance accuracy and performance
This project demonstrates how innovation, research, and industry collaboration can drive smarter, more efficient logistics solutions for the future.
Project commencement: 2024.01.
End of project activities: 2026.03.
Project value: EUR 1,650,547.80, with EUR 1,009,593.08 in EU support.
