📛 A Historic Shift: Apple Set to Launch Innovative 9GB RAM Layout for iPhone 18 ⚡

⭕ Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed a strange new hardware shift, reporting that Apple's lower-end iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e models are highly expected to feature an unconventional 9GB of RAM. Driven entirely by the heavy hardware demands of upcoming Apple Intelligence workloads under iOS 27, this marks the first time Apple is experimenting with a non-standard, odd RAM configuration.
⭕ Rather than jumping straight to 12GB—which remains reserved for the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, and rumored Fold Ultra—Apple plans to engineer this 9GB layout using six 1.5GB memory dies (1.5GB x 6) instead of the traditional four 2GB dies.
