Yesterday evening we hosted the Lisbon JUG (Java Users Group) at our Portugal Hub for a night of great talks, discussions, pizza, and beers 🍕🍻

It was brilliant to see so many people from the local Java community come together to share knowledge, ideas, and experiences around everything happening across the Java ecosystem.

A big thank you to Sergio Silva for his session on Spring Boot 4 and the major improvements coming to the framework, and to Bruno Bevilacqua Nascimento & Pedro Appel for sharing insights and key takeaways from JCON — from AI-driven development to the growing importance of developer communities and sustainable software.

Events like this are a great reminder of how valuable strong tech communities are for learning, collaboration, and staying connected to what’s next.
