A productive first collaborative meeting was held recently between the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) and the Sri Lanka Association of Printers (SLAP), focusing on future planned courses and industry-oriented training initiatives.

The meeting was represented by NAITA Chairman Mr. Abdul Saththar, Director General Dr. W. M. S. Wijesinghe, Director (Planning) Mr. C. P. Subasinghe and Assistant Director (Marketing & Career Guidance) Mr. Priyanthe Fernando.

Representing SLAP were President Eng. Janaka Rathnakumara, 1st Vice President Mr. Nishantha Perera and Manager - SLAP Mr. Leonard Edward

This initial discussion marks an important step toward a strong collaboration aimed at enhancing skills development and aligning vocational training with the evolving needs of Sri Lanka’s printing industry..

Another Successful Business Forum by the SLAP
The Sri Lanka Association of Printers (SLAP), in collaboration with FESPA, successfully organized
another insightful seminar and business forum on the future of the printing industry. The fullday workshop was held at the Hotel Grand Guardian, Rathnapura, from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
with the participation of 95 professionals from the Kuruwita, Balangoda, Embilipitiya in Rathnapura region.SLAP extended its gratitude to the Main Sponsors — JDC Printing Technologies (Pvt)
