Together with The Pearl Protectors, LSEG Sri Lanka colleagues came together for a beach clean-up at Dehiwala Beach. 🌊

Thanks to the efforts of 114 LSEG volunteers, more than 325 kg of coastal waste was removed from the shoreline, helping to reduce pollution and protect the local marine environment.

Supported by the LSEG Foundation, the initiative brought together colleagues and leaders from Sri Lanka, India and the UK, all contributing their time and energy to support a cleaner coastline.

A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day a success.

🌿 Our colleagues recently came together for another meaningful day of forest restoration at the border of the Sinharaja World Heritage Site in Nildeniya, Sooriyakanda.

In partnership with Rainforest Protectors of Sri Lanka, colleagues rolled up their sleeves to support native tree planting and site preparation while learning firsthand about biodiversity conservation, forest degradation and the vital role ecological restoration plays in protecting Sri Lanka’s unique natural heritage.

A big thank you to all colleagues and partners who contributed their time and effort. Initiatives like these demonstrate how collective action can support the long‑term health of our ecosystems and the communities that depend on them.
