As the 𝐈𝐅𝐒 𝐔𝐊&𝐈 𝐔𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 draws to a close, we'd like to extend our thanks to the IFS UK&I User Group team for hosting another outstanding event. This year's Enigma theme provided the perfect setting for thought-provoking discussions, valuable insights, and meaningful conversations with customers, partners, and IFS colleagues.
A particular highlight for the Enterprise Analytics team was presenting alongside Fragrance Oils, where we explored how 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲, our AI-powered document extraction engine for IFS, helped transform their Accounts Payable process.
The session featured 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐝𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬, 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐢𝐥𝐬, and 𝐋𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡, 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 & 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬, who shared the challenges they faced, the decisions they made, and the results achieved through their automation journey.
Some of the key takeaways included:
◾When purpose-built for and embedded within IFS, AI-powered document extraction provides a powerful foundation for scalable automation across business processes.
◾Automating Accounts Payable is about more than speeding up invoice processing. Fragrance Oils demonstrated how reducing manual effort improved accuracy, streamlined operations, and enabled the finance team to focus on more strategic, value-added activities.
◾The benefits of end-to-end automation extend far beyond efficiency gains. Improved data quality, stronger financial controls, faster approvals, and greater visibility all contribute to more informed and confident decision-making.
◾Organizations should look beyond Accounts Payable when exploring automation opportunities. As a generic AI-powered document extraction engine for IFS, DocuMate can support a wide range of document-driven processes, helping businesses maximize the value of their IFS investment.
We were also proud to see Lakshika Tennakoon, Software Architect at Enterprise Analytics, participate in a panel discussion on IFS Cloud permission migration and management. Drawing on her extensive customer experience, Lakshika shared practical insights into permission governance, migration challenges, and how our proprietary solution, 𝗘𝗔 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, helps IFS customers simplify and manage permissions more effectively throughout their cloud journey.
Thank you to everyone who attended our sessions, stopped by our booth, and took the time to connect with us throughout the event. We look forward to continuing the conversations and building on the momentum from a fantastic week.
