Senior Software Engineer (Odoo)
Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka (Onsite)

As we continue to expand our ERP practice, we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Odoo) to join our growing team and contribute to the successful delivery of enterprise-grade Odoo solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of Odoo ERP projects.
Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on client business requirements.
Perform Odoo version upgrades and migrations while ensuring compatibility and maintainability.
Design and implement integrations with third-party applications and enterprise systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Odoo implementations.
Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to define technical solutions and estimate development effort.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, promoting best development practices.
Write clean, maintainable, and upgrade-friendly code following Odoo development standards.
Prepare technical documentation for developed solutions and integrations.
Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of professional software development experience, including significant hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
Strong expertise in Python and the Odoo framework, including ORM, module development, and framework architecture.
Experience with PostgreSQL, XML, QWeb, JavaScript, and Odoo web technologies.
Solid understanding of core Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, CRM, and Human Resources.
Experience in Odoo implementation, customization, migration, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with REST APIs, third-party integrations, and web services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects effectively.
Odoo Certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Odoo.sh and Linux server administration.
Knowledge of Docker, Git, CI/CD, and deployment best practices.
Experience working in an ERP consulting or implementation environment.
Exposure to cloud infrastructure and enterprise integration platforms.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
