The Senior Project Manager will oversee the implementation and management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP projects.
This role involves coordinating with Functional , Technical and Support Teams, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Ex*****on: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, budget estimation, and timeline setting. Lead the planning, ex*****on, and monitoring of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope.
Team Management: Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project goals are met. Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any concerns. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Resolve issues and mitigate risks to avoid project blockers and escalations.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Implement process improvement and optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors and suppliers as needed to support project objectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: At least six years of direct Microsoft ERP (NAV/BC or AX/F&O or CRM/CE) experience, with at least three years of project management oversight for implementations.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree or PMP certification is often preferred.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project.
Attributes: Ability to work under pressure, problem-solving skills, and a strategic mindset. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interactive team management skills.
Additional Requirements:
Travel: Ability to travel 25% to 40% to client sites.
Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is a plus.
