Object Technology Cisco Academy is excited to announce the launch of a new cybersecurity learning pathway designed to help learners build real-world SOC skills and prepare for high-demand cybersecurity roles.

Through this career path, participants will learn how to:

A Performance to Be Proud Of: Cyber Cedars LB at the Cisco CTF Semifinals 🇱🇧

At Object Technology Cisco Academy, we believe that true victory is measured by growth, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence. After an incredible run that saw us finish as the #1 ranked team in Lebanon during the NetAcad Learnathon, our team LEBANON # Cyber Cedars LB took on the global stage at the Cisco CTF semifinals.

We are incredibly proud to announce that our team achieved an outstanding score of 98/100 flags. While we didn’t advance to the final round, this result stands as a testament to the immense skill, dedication, and technical mastery our students possess.

The journey started with the NetAcad Learnathon, where Object Technology Cisco Academy dominated the leaderboard to become #1 in Lebanon. Now, the stakes are even higher.

On April 16, our top 4 cybersecurity prodigies will compete in the semifinals of the Cisco CTF - NetAcad Real Madrid Cup. We’ve trained hard, pushed our limits, and now it’s time to show the world what Lebanese talent can do.

Git & GitHub: From Zero to Team Collaboration😍

Version control is a core skill in today’s tech job market, yet many students either don’t use Git at all, or use it without truly understanding why it exists or how it works.

This workshop is designed specifically for Computer Science students and junior developers who are new to Git. It focuses on building a clear mental model of version control, then applying it through guided, hands-on practice.

Led by Amr Hammoud, participants will learn how to:
• Understand why version control is needed
• Use Git confidently for everyday development tasks
• Manage project history and recover from common mistakes
• Collaborate with others using GitHub in a simple team workflow

By the end of the course, learners will be prepared for real-world version control scenarios commonly encountered in internships and junior roles!
