[English Speakers] Recruitment: 'KorailTalk' Mobile App Usability Test Participants (80,000 KRW Honorarium)
Hello, this is Wedesignexperience, a UX/UI design and consulting agency.
In June 2026, we are conducting 1:1 in-person usability tests to improve the English version and foreign user experience of 'KorailTalk', South Korea's primary train booking mobile app.
We would highly appreciate your interest and help in sharing this announcement with the expat community!
Please note that submitting the application does not automatically guarantee selection. We will thoroughly review your responses and individually contact those who strictly match our test criteria.
📋 Application & Selection

Notification: Finalists will be contacted individually via phone from 010-5857-8881 (If you provide an international number, we will reach out via email instead).
📍 Session Details
Recruitment Period: June 2, 2026 ~ Until Filled (First-come, first-served based on eligibility)
Test Schedule: Early to mid-June, 2026 (Individual slots will be coordinated)
Location: wedesignexperience, 2nd Floor, Glass Square, 38 Yangjaecheon-ro 21-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul
Format: 1:1 in-person interview and mobile app usability testing (includes a live test of the foreign credit card payment process).
Any amount charged during the payment test will be canceled immediately or fully reimbursed on-site via cash/bank transfer.
Duration: Approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
👤 Eligibility Criteria (Looking for 2 Participants)
Nationality & Language: Native English Speakers aged 19 or older.
Residency Status: Must hold a valid visa or legal residency status in South Korea (Undocumented individuals are not eligible to participate).
Korean Proficiency: Able to understand simple spoken Korean instructions and engage in basic, minimal communication.
Experience: Have experience using the 'KorailTalk' or 'SRT' mobile app AND riding the KTX/SRT train within the past 6 months.
Age Group: 20s to 40s (Born between 1977 and 2006).
Smartphone OS: Looking for 1 iPhone user and 1 Android (Galaxy, etc.) user.
⚠️ Mandatory On-site Requirement: You MUST bring your physical Passport or valid Alien Registration Card (ARC) on the day of the test for identity and visa verification.
If you fail to bring a valid ID, you will not be allowed to participate, and the honorarium will not be paid.
🔔 Privacy Policy & Data Usage
The app testing and interview sessions will be screen-recorded and voice-recorded for accurate research analysis.
All collected data will be strictly anonymized and permanently destroyed immediately upon the completion of this project.
✅ Additional Information
Participation Fee (Honorarium): 80,000 KRW will be paid via bank transfer within 2 weeks after successfully completing the session (Requires a bank account under your own name).
Parking Information: If you are driving, please use the nearby Yangjae Public Parking Lot. Please note that parking fees are NOT covered by the host (https://naver.me/x2c5sHtk)
