**Challenge
Most F&B Brands these days spend tons of money for listing their restaurants on food delivery apps. Seemingly, their percentage of deliveries are rising along with their overhead expenses. If their restaurant is running on slim profit margins(less than 50%), however, then paying 12-20% per order on top of all the overhead expenses means they’re making more food for less profits.
In addition, F&B Brands have to pay extra for making their restaurants visible on the food delivery apps or to manipulate the ranking in search queries posted by customers and it’s far more expensive than what they usually spend on marketing(3 to 6% of their sales).
What’s worse is that they don’t get access to customers’ contact information or whatsoever, that they may use for their own marketing in the future. This leads to a situation where F&B Brands can neither measure their brand awareness nor prove ROI/ROAS because the reason customers look for their restaurants is not that they enjoy the food and services but the restaurants are just listed on top in search queries.
**Solution
The client(Major fried chicken franchise in South Korea) wanted to capture and retain customers’ loyalty as well as create new revenue streams.
The solution was to establish a Blockchain based brand advertising platform equipped with customizable rewards program to engage existing customers and reach new ones for measurable ROI.
Through this platform, F&B Brands can create multiple campaigns designed to reward their customers in accordance with the actions that have the positive effects of branding. The campaigns are fully customizable to their brands and designed to measure individual customer’s actions and behaviors across their channels in order to boost retention rates and personalize future activities.
F&B Brands can also issue Brand Token which can be used to redeem products or discounts not only at their franchise outlet but also online brand shop for new revenue streams.
