π’π°οΈ KNS(Korea Network System) took part in SMM 2026, one of the world's leading shipbuilding and marine industry exhibitions, held in Hamburg, Germany from September 1β4.
At SMM 2026, KNS showcased its expanding satellite communication antenna portfolio, headlined by "Tiny UT," a low-earth-orbit (LEO) flat-panel antenna developed for the OneWeb constellation. The company also presented its submarine antenna technology and related business opportunities to global shipbuilding and defense partners.
Tiny UT is engineered with a SWaP-optimized design β compact, lightweight, and low-power β reducing installation footprint and power consumption while maintaining high communication performance. The antenna has passed MIL-STD-461G and MIL-STD-810G testing, validating its electromagnetic compatibility and environmental durability, with certification currently in its final stages. The product drew strong interest from attendees throughout the exhibition.
Building on the technical expertise accumulated through its naval antenna business, KNS is expanding its flat-panel antenna lineup and strengthening its position across the global LEO satellite communication market, including the defense sector. Tiny UT is positioned as a key growth driver as KNS broadens its footprint in the global satcom industry, reinforcing product competitiveness across the maritime and defense segments.
KNS remains committed to advancing its technology leadership and driving sustainable growth as it establishes itself as a global leader in satellite communication antenna solutions.
