AI 기반 무인이동체 솔루션 선도 기업 ㈜무지개연구소의 비가시권 초원거리 AI 자율무인항공시스템 ‘아리온(arion)’이 국토교통부의 ‘혁신제품’으로 신규 지정됐습니다.
이번 혁신 지정은 항공안전기술원의 사전평가와 국토교통부 심의를 거쳐 이뤄졌습니다. 국내 실증도시 구축사업 및 상용화 참여기업이 개발한 제품 중 성능·품질과 기술적 파급효과가 우수하다고 평가되는 경우 혁신제품으로 지정됩니다.
‘아리온’은 독자 개발한 온디바이스 AI 미션컴퓨터 ‘아리온AAS’를 기반으로 하는 지상 관제 시스템 ‘아리온GCS v2.0’을 통해 비가시권 초원거리(BVLOS) 자율 비행 및 관제를 구현했습니다. 드론 배송, 재난 안전 관리, 감시 정찰 등에 특화된 기술력으로 혁신성, 공공성, 시장성을 인정받게 되었습니다.

rgblab, a leader in AI-based unmanned mobility solutions, has announced that its Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) long-range AI autonomous unmanned aerial system, 'arion', has been newly designated as an 'Innovation Product' by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT).
This prestigious designation was achieved following a rigorous preliminary evaluation by the Korea Institute of Aviation Safety Technology (KIAST) and a final review by MOLIT. Innovation Products are selected based on their superior performance, quality, and technical impact among technologies developed through domestic drone demonstration and commercialization projects.
'arion' implements BVLOS long-range autonomous flight and mission control through 'arion GCS v2.0', which is powered by the independently developed on-device AI mission computer, 'arion AAS'. The system has been highly recognized for its innovation, public value, and market potential, particularly for specialized applications such as drone delivery, disaster safety management, and reconnaissance.
