On December 20, 2025, Tokyo hosted the first “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue Summit. Leaders from across the region took part, including Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov and Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
On the sidelines of the summit, a business forum brought together around 300 representatives from Central Asia and Japan. Key priorities included digitalization and the development of the IT industry.
Most importantly, the forum concluded with a ceremony announcing and/or signing bilateral documents between Kyrgyzstan and Japan, underscoring both sides’ commitment to deeper cooperation.
As part of the business program, Azis Abakirov delivered a presentation highlighting the growth of Kyrgyz–Japanese collaboration in IT and the rising relevance of the Lab Offshore Development model—where Japanese clients retain transparent, online control over development processes.
Azis Abakirov: “Just as the Great Silk Road once connected regions, knowledge, and ideas, Central Asia today can become a space for new partnerships and innovation. We invite Japanese companies and industry leaders to visit Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia—to explore the ecosystem, launch joint projects, and build new technology routes together.”

2025年12月20日、東京で「中央アジア＋日本」対話の第1回サミットが開催されました。地域各国の首脳が参加し、キルギス共和国からはサディル・ジャパロフ大統領、日本からは高市早苗首相が出席しました。
サミットの開催にあわせてビジネスフォーラムも行われ、中央アジアと日本から約300名の関係者が参加しました。議題には、デジタル化やIT産業の発展が含まれていました。
特に重要なのは、フォーラムの結果として、キルギス共和国と日本の間で二国間文書の発表および／または署名に関する式典が行われ、協力をさらに深める意思が示された点です。
ビジネスプログラムでは、アジス・アバキロフがプレゼンテーションを行い、IT分野におけるキルギス―日本協力の拡大と、Lab Offshore Development（ラボ型オフショア開発）モデルの有効性を強調しました。これは、日本側が開発プロセスをオンラインで透明性高く把握し、コントロールできる形態です。
